Szef Platformy Obywatelskiej Borys Budka skomentował słowa prezesa PiS, mówiące o tym, że PO zmierza w stronę „lewackiego ekstremizmu”. — PO była, jest i pozostanie partią środka, prezes PiS Jarosław Kaczyński od lat wchodzi tylko w spory ideologiczne, mam wrażenie, że stracił kontakt z rzeczywistością i nie widzi, czym żyją Polacy — powiedział Borys Budka.
W sobotę ukazała się zapowiedź wywiadu, który z Kaczyńskim przeprowadziła „Rzeczpospolita”. — Platforma poszła bardzo ostro w lewo, w stronę lewackiego ekstremizmu, co nas trochę zaskakuje — powiedział lider PiS w rozmowie z gazetą.
Lider ugrupowania komentując słowa Jarosława Kaczyńskiego, ocenił, że tego typu zagrywki pokazują jedynie, że nie ma on żadnego konkretnego pomysłu i nie potrafi prowadzić sensownego ani merytorycznego sporu o nasz kraj.
— Uciekając od tematów istotnych dla Polaków, takich jak klimat czy kwestie związane z pracą i podatkami, Kaczyński usilnie od kilku lat wchodzi tylko w spory ideologiczne. Mam wrażenie, że Kaczyński stracił kontakt z rzeczywistością, on już nie widzi, czym żyją Polacy — podkreślił szef PO Borys Budka. Jak sam zauważył „Platforma była, jest i pozostanie partią środka”.
— Natomiast PiS z partii konserwatywnej zamienił się w partie narodowych socjalistów i zdradził wyborców konserwatywnych. Zamiast wolności gospodarczej oferuje etatyzm, zamiast poszanowania praw jednostki — prymat państwa, indoktrynację i próbę narzucania wszystkiego przez państwo — kontynuował Budka.
Zdaniem polityka Jarosław Kaczyński dawno utracił kontrolę i nie panuje już nad PiS-em, stąd próba przepchnięcia centrowej Platformy „gdzieś na lewo”.
